Prometal 2000 Ltd. is engaged in the production of metal structures. A significant part of its activities is related to welding.
EBT is a new opportunity to increase the technological capabilities and competitiveness of the mechanical engineering industry in Bulgaria, and of course - for Prometal 2000 Ltd. However, in order to implement this technology within the company, it is necessary to carry out specific scientific services to determine the parameters and method of integration.
Electron beam technology (EBT) finds the following areas of application: electron beam welding (EBW); electron beam modification (EBM) of surface layers and surface hardening (EBH) in a controlled area. The technological advantages of EBT are the following: processing is carried out in a vacuum environment; heterogeneous materials are processed; thin-walled parts are processed; a large depth of impact is achieved; micro-parts are processed; processing is contactless; hard-to-reach or narrow places are processed.
EBT will improve the possibilities for manufacturing metal joints that are impossible to obtain with conventional welding technologies. The main advantage is the processing in deep vacuum conditions, which eliminates the influence of all natural gases that surround us, achieving maximum quality of the resulting weld. Also, the weld seam that is realized has a very small width as a result of the good focusing of the electron beam. Therefore, the processed materials are very slightly affected by temperature, which improves their operational properties in the future. The penetration depth of the weld can be precisely controlled from tenths of a millimeter to tens of millimeters. All this is done without adding additional material, with high efficiency of over 90%. The process is fully automated, which leads to great stability and repeatability.

Услугите по посочената допустима дейност по настоящата процедура - при одобрение на проекта на Прометал2000 ООД ще се предоставят от „изпълнители на услугата“, съгласно определението в Приложение 8 към Условията за кандидатстване.

По-конкретно дейността включва:
Предоставяне на техническа документация на детайли, които трябва да бъдат обработени чрез електронно-лъчево заваряване (ЕЛЗ) - това включва чертежи, спецификации и др. за изясняване на задачата и обекта за заваряване. Изпълнителя консултира за метода електронно-лъчево заваряване (ЕЛЗ), като разяснява подробно технологичните способности за решаване на поставената задача. Съгласуване на методика за извършване на ЕЛЗ. Провеждане на предварителни заварки, върху пробни образци, за доказване на технологията на обработка. Уточняване на параметрите за последващо въвеждане на технологията. Финализиране на услугата за иновации в полза на Прометал2000 ООД, .
