The project proposal envisages the implementation of measures to increase energy efficiency and use renewable energy sources in the company's administrative base in Haskovo, where research and development activities in the field of technical sciences are carried out. With the implementation of the investment, the company will significantly reduce energy consumption in its base, optimize current electricity costs and reduce its carbon footprint, which will contribute to a more sustainable and competitive development of the company. The investment includes the construction of a photovoltaic system with an output (nominal) active power of 60 kW and a local energy storage facility (battery system) with a capacity of 60 kWh for its own consumption with a hybrid inverter. The system will be equipped with an inverter for converting the produced energy and synchronizing it with the company's internal electricity distribution network. The battery will provide load balancing, peak power reduction and the ability to use stored energy during periods without sunlight or at higher electricity prices. The planned investment will ensure the company's own production of green electricity and reduce its dependence on external suppliers. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of the procedure, as it will contribute to accelerating the company's transition to climate neutrality by reducing its carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption and increasing renewable energy in the company's energy mix through: - Reducing carbon emissions through the use of clean energy; - Increasing the company's energy independence and sustainability; - Significantly optimizing electricity costs and reducing vulnerability to fluctuations in energy prices; - Improving the competitiveness and sustainable development of the company.
