Description

The project proposal of VIVA-METAL Ltd. envisages the construction of a thermal-voltaic power plant - FPP with a capacity of 200 kWp in combination with local energy storage facilities (batteries) for own consumption. The aim is to improve energy efficiency through the use of energy from renewable sources (RE), thereby accelerating the transition to climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption and increasing RE in the energy mix of the enterprise.
The significant increase in the price of electricity in recent years disrupts the functioning of the company, which requires taking action to ensure its energy independence from external energy sources. Through its own production of energy from RE and with the availability of energy storage facilities, the enterprise will cover 100% of its electricity costs, reduce its dependence on fluctuations in electricity prices on the market and optimize its current administrative costs.
The implementation of the investments will provide significant economic, energy and strategic benefits for VIVA-METAL OOD:
- improved energy efficiency
- reduction of electricity bills by over 95%
- increased competitiveness
- reduction of carbon footprint
- increased energy security and sustainability

The investments under the project are in line with the requirements of the principle of "doing no significant harm" to the environment and achieving climate sustainability, contributing to the ecological transition in the company's activities, supporting the implementation of the goals of the Energy Union for secure, sustainable, competitive and economically affordable energy.
