Programme: Programme "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027

Planning region: All

Description

The project involves the construction and commissioning of a photovoltaic system for self-consumption at the production facility of ANIEL - 86 Ltd., whose business activity is the manufacturing of a variety of confectionery products, characterized by high electricity consumption.

The planned photovoltaic system includes photovoltaic panels combined with inverters, as well as all necessary associated costs required for commissioning—such as services, auxiliary materials, construction and installation works, and other components needed for the assembly and installation of a fully operational system. It represents a photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption, comprising solar panels, inverters, and other components essential for the plant’s operation. The total nominal active output power of the inverters connected to the photovoltaic system for self-consumption is planned to be 150 kW.

The need addressed by the project is the reduction of high electricity costs resulting from the energy-intensive nature of the production process (use of ovens, dryers, and other thermal, cooling, and production equipment). These high costs limit the enterprise’s competitiveness and sustainability amid rising electricity prices and anticipated tightening of environmental regulations.

The objective of the project is to improve energy efficiency by utilizing renewable energy sources through the construction of a photovoltaic system that will cover part of the enterprise’s electricity consumption.

The project is aimed not only directly at ANIEL - 86 Ltd., but also at its employees, customers, and partners, considering the expected improvement in the competitiveness and sustainability of the company’s production operations.

The expected results of the project include improved energy efficiency through increased use of renewable energy sources, which will enhance competitiveness and reduce energy intensity.
