ARKH EOOD is a construction company with main activities in residential construction, interior finishing works and production of joinery and structural elements for its own construction sites. The company has a construction base and a production workshop for aluminum and PVC joinery and storage of finished products. A significant part of the company's expenses are related to electricity consumption. The main consumers are: machines for cutting, welding and processing of profiles, lighting and heating. In recent years, electricity prices have increased significantly, which increases the cost of production and reduces the competitiveness of ARKH EOOD. The company plans to build a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 55 kW on its own property of 55 sq. m., which will power both the administrative and construction base and the joinery workshop. The expected annual electricity production is about 70,000 kWh, which will cover 50-60% of the total consumption of the enterprise and will allow a significant reduction in energy costs. This will reduce dependence on the external grid and unstable prices, improving production efficiency. The expected effects of the investment are: Energy - production of own green energy, reducing energy intensity and increasing energy independence; Economic - reducing operating costs, improving the sustainability of the enterprise; Environmental - reducing CO₂ emissions by approximately 25–30 tons per year, contributing to the EU climate goals and the national decarbonization strategy; Social - improving the working environment in the production facility and enhancing the company's image as a responsible and sustainable construction entrepreneur. The investment will directly contribute to achieving the objectives of the procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 by ensuring energy efficiency, an increased share of renewable energy and sustainability of the company's construction and production activities.
