The project proposal of "BESTIA PET" EOOD is aimed at increasing the energy efficiency, competitiveness and sustainable development of the enterprise by implementing modern energy-saving technologies and equipment, and at reducing dependence on conventional energy sources. The company operates in the field of production and trade of luxury leather products for pets - collars, harnesses, leads, bibs and other leather products. The production process is energy-intensive and requires stable and effective management of energy flows. The current project is aimed at improving the energy performance of the production buildings of the enterprise in the city of Pazardzhik, with the main goal being to reduce energy costs, increase thermal comfort and competitiveness, ensure sustainable and environmentally friendly electricity to power the base, through the implementation of the following main activities: - Delivery and installation of 3 pcs. air-to-air heat pumps with a thermal capacity of 18.17 kW each; - Replacement of old with new 101 pcs. energy-saving lighting fixtures (panels/lunes) with a power of 40 W each; - Thermal insulation of 132 m² of external walls of a production hall with the laying of thermal insulation from sandwich panels; - Construction of a combined heat and power plant for own consumption with an installed capacity of 30kWp; - Implementation of an additional Local energy storage facility - a battery in combination with inverters with a capacity of 30 kWh. The implementation of the project will contribute to reducing energy losses and optimizing the consumption of electricity and heat in production premises, will ensure higher efficiency of the production process, improved working conditions and stability of the microclimate in the premises, while at the same time leading to significant electricity savings, reducing operating costs and improving business sustainability.
