With this project proposal, the company VRANGOVI LTD is applying to receive financial support for the implementation of construction and renovation works for the purpose of energy efficiency of the production and administrative building of the enterprise, which will help the enterprise maintain its competitiveness, as well as continue with its investment intentions in technological modernization. The significant increase in the price of electricity and natural gas observed over the last 5 years disrupts the functioning of almost all economic activities, and in the manufacturing sector, the impact of price increases is decisive for competitiveness. The implementation of specific measures in the field of energy transition is important not only from the perspective of preventing climate change, but also to reduce Bulgaria's vulnerability to fluctuations in fossil fuel prices. Industrial consumers are facing the prospect of higher energy bills at a time when this could impact their recovery and growth following the COVID pandemic and the war in Ukraine. The expected results for VRANGOVI LTD from the support under the procedure are expressed in improving the energy efficiency of the enterprise, achieved by carrying out installation activities on the roof and part of the walls of a mixed-use building. Another economic benefit will be a reduction in heating and cooling bills for the premises in the building subject to investment under the procedure. This will contribute to increasing the energy autonomy of the enterprise, its competitiveness and reducing the energy intensity of a manufacturing enterprise in the metalworking sector.
