DRIM-2020 LTd. is a company with its registered office in Haskovo, which operates the La Grande Fast Food Restaurant, located in the Land Registry No. 77195.707.143.1 according to the Cadastral Map of Haskovo. For the use of the site, the company has a valid real estate lease agreement, registered with the Registry Office on 30.05.2023. The building in which the restaurant is located has a total built-up area of 388 sq.m. The restaurant is equipped with various professional equipment, which is a significant consumer of electricity - fryers, grill/grill, convection ovens 2 pcs., professional hobs, Vario cooking system, dishwashers, coffee machine, refrigerators, freezers and refrigerators, ice maker, lighting and air conditioners 3 pcs. The majority of these appliances operate almost continuously, which makes the fast food restaurant a significant consumer of electricity. From mid-2024, DRIM-2020 EOOD incurred energy costs of BGN 15,000, representing 11% of all costs for raw materials and materials. This clearly highlights the high energy intensity of the facility and the need to introduce measures to increase energy efficiency and integrate renewable energy sources. The expected effect of these is optimization of current costs, reduction of the carbon footprint and sustainable development of the enterprise. With this project, the company plans to implement activities to improve energy efficiency and use energy from renewable sources by building a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) with a capacity of 55 kW. The photovoltaic panels will be installed on the roof of the building with an area of 388 sq.m., and the energy storage batteries will be located in the storage room of the restaurant. The assets envisaged under the project will be used solely to cover the restaurant's own consumption, thus achieving long-term energy cost savings and sustainable environmental development.
