The current project will be implemented by "CHAIKA RESORT" EAD - a company that manages and operates the "CHAIKA" hotel complex in the city of Vratsa. Due to the specifics of the activity and the need to ensure maximum comfort for customers (heating, cooling, domestic hot water, lighting), the energy component is a significant factor in forming the final prices in the hotel and restaurant of the complex and "CHAIKA RESORT" EAD is faced with challenges related to high energy intensity, uncertainty of energy supplies and the dynamics of electricity prices. To address these challenges and in accordance with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", the project envisages the implementation of investments under item 2 of the List of eligible assets, namely: • Air-to-water heat pumps - 6 units, each with a unit capacity of 35 kW, for the needs of the air conditioning systems and provision of domestic hot water of the complex; The planned investments represent an important stage in the overall process of energy transformation, efficiency and sustainable energy consumption in the complex. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004, with the principles of energy efficiency, sustainable development and green transformation of the Bulgarian economy. The investment will contribute both to improving the environmental and economic indicators of the enterprise, and to achieving the strategic priorities of the Program "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021–2027. The total investment value is 141,493.80 leva, and the project duration is 12 months.
