The project proposal of "Transplam 2015" EOOD aims to increase energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint by building a photovoltaic system with an installed capacity of 50 kW in combination with a battery system for energy storage for own consumption without being fed into the grid. The company operates under codes 56.10 (restaurants and fast food establishments - 44%), 47.11 (retail trade in food products - 54%) and 52.29 (support activities related to transport - 2%). The main business activity is carried out at the address: Vratsa, Nefela, Stopanski dvor str 1, where the company operates a grocery store and a restaurant located within its own TIR parking lot. The facilities operate daily, with high electricity consumption related to cooling and ventilation systems, kitchen equipment, lighting and air conditioning. Therefore, Transplam 2015 EOOD has significant electricity costs, which makes the investment in a renewable energy source economically and environmentally justified. The expected result is a reduction in dependence on the electricity distribution network, a reduction in the annual consumption of conventional electricity and a reduction in CO₂ emissions. The project will lead to lower operating costs, increased energy independence and sustainability of the business, as well as an improvement in the environmental image of the company. The project proposal is fully consistent with the objectives of the program for energy efficiency and promotion of the use of renewable sources by enterprises, contributing to the energy transition, increasing competitiveness and reducing the carbon footprint of the activity. The project will be implemented in compliance with the principle of "doing no significant harm" and with the principles of equality of women and men and ensuring equal opportunities for all.
