The project proposal of "ELITIS MEGASTOR" EOOD aims to increase the energy efficiency and sustainability of the enterprise by building a photovoltaic power plant for its own consumption, including solar panels, inverters and batteries. The investment will be implemented on the building of the shopping center and the warehouse of the company and will allow for a reduction in electricity costs, increased energy independence and limiting carbon emissions. By using renewable energy and local storage of the produced electricity, the enterprise will achieve better efficiency, sustainability and competitiveness. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of the procedure. The main activity - trade in perfumery, cosmetics, detergents and cleaning agents - is energy intensive due to the need for uninterrupted power supply for lighting, air conditioning, storage and management systems for goods, IT and cash systems. Rising electricity prices create significant cost pressure and risk to operational sustainability. Therefore, there is a real need to implement a photovoltaic power plant with a battery storage system, which would reduce peak load and increase energy independence. Target groups: the enterprise – through reduced energy costs and increased efficiency; employees – better working conditions; customers – access to a sustainable and environmentally responsible retail outlet. Expected results: -Constructed and commissioned PV plant for own consumption; -Reduced electricity costs and increased share of own production; -Improved energy efficiency and reduced CO₂ emissions; -Increased energy security and resilience under loads; -Long-term economic and environmental effect in line with the goals of the green transition.
