Programme: Programme "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027

Planning region: All

Description

The project proposal foresees the construction and commissioning of a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 100 kW, along with the implementation of a battery energy storage system, as well as the installation of five heat pumps with a capacity of 10 kW each. The investment will be implemented on the territory of a commercial facility and is to be realized under Priority 2 “Circular Economy,” Specific Objective RSO2.1 - “Promoting Energy Efficiency and Reducing Greenhouse Gas Emissions,” aimed at increasing the energy independence and sustainability of the enterprise through the use of renewable energy sources.

The photovoltaic system will provide a significant portion of the electricity needed for the enterprise’s operational needs, reducing dependence on external energy sources and contributing to lower electricity costs. The installed heat pumps will utilize renewable energy resources for heating and cooling, leading to optimized energy expenses and reduced greenhouse gas emissions.

The implementation of the project will contribute to reducing the carbon footprint, improving energy autonomy, and stabilizing production costs.

The project is aligned with national and European policies for energy transition and sustainable development and complies with the principle of “do no significant harm” to the environment. The expected impact is an increase in energy efficiency, competitiveness, and sustainability of the enterprise.
