The project proposal of VERONI BG Ltd. aims to enhance energy efficiency and optimize the use of renewable energy sources through the expansion of the existing power plant by installing additional photovoltaic modules with a capacity of 30 kW, implementing an energy storage system – a battery with a capacity of 40 kW, as well as integrating a heat pump system and a modern kitchen ventilation installation. The main objective is to ensure higher energy independence and achieve a more efficient balance between electricity production and consumption. The battery will enable the storage of generated but unused energy, leading to reduced peak loads, optimized energy flows, and lower electricity costs. The installation of the heat pump will provide high-efficiency heating and cooling, reducing conventional energy consumption and carbon emissions. The new ventilation system will improve air quality and working conditions while reducing energy consumption through optimized air exchange technologies. The implementation of the project will allow more complete and flexible use of the generated energy, increase the reliability of power supply, and minimize the risks of outages and fluctuations in the energy system. Expected results include a lower carbon footprint, higher resource efficiency, and contribution to sustainable development. Along with environmental benefits, the project will also have an economic impact – lower operating costs, greater predictability, and enhanced competitiveness of VERONI BG Ltd. In the long term, it will support the achievement of national and European goals for energy efficiency and climate neutrality and establish the company as a sustainable business applying innovative solutions in energy management.
