Our company owns the Hotel Sofia in the Golden Sands resort. The hotel building is operational, not insulated, and is energy-intensive, making it difficult to heat and cool, with a high degree of energy dependence on the electricity transmission network. We have a huge need for a photovoltaic system combined with a battery (PV-BESS) of 50.00 kW for energy storage due to the frequent power outages in Bulgaria's electricity grid caused by insufficient capacity in the electrical network.The light fixtures are our consumable items, as they are replaced frequently; this is why we also need energy-saving light fixtures—3,000 units. At the same time, electricity prices have risen drastically over the past few years due to the liberalization of the energy market. These factors negatively impact "Golden Tours" Ltd.'s ability to offer its services at competitive prices. To overcome the issues of energy dependence and costly electricity, as well as to transition to climate neutrality, we need to build a photovoltaic system for self-consumption with local energy storage facilities (batteries) (PV system) of 50.00 kW at the hotel site, as well as 3,000 energy-saving light fixtures.The photovoltaic installations will be built on the roof of the building, with their capacity being aligned with the peak energy consumption and sufficient to cover the main operational needs. Energy-saving lighting fixtures will replace the existing conventional lighting. Our investment will contribute to achieving economic transformation by attaining energy independence, reducing overhead costs, and lowering the carbon footprint, which will lead to increased competitiveness of the company.
