Description

The project aims to permanently reduce energy costs and increase the energy independence of the production workshop. A measure is envisaged to build a 55 kW photovoltaic power plant for own consumption, including photovoltaic modules, inverters, batteries and the necessary structural elements, configured without returning energy to the grid. The PV plant will mainly cover the daily loads of the garment production – electric motors of sewing machines, cutting tables, irons/presses, compressors, lighting, ventilation/air conditioning of the work areas, as well as office and IT equipment. The batteries will shift part of the consumption outside peak hours and during cloudy weather, will smooth out short-term peaks and increase self-consumption.
The measure was selected according to the load profile of "Valtex-G" (high daily activity, concentrated electrical loads in production shifts) and supports the company's business model - short series of sporty and elegant products made of natural fabrics with consistent quality and timely deliveries to end customers, partner stores and wholesalers. The reduction of the energy component in the cost price stabilizes the margin and allows for more predictable pricing during seasonal peaks of demand (spring/summer).
The activities include: technical survey and detailing, design, delivery and installation of photovoltaic power plants (panels, inverters, structure) and batteries, integration into the internal electrical infrastructure.
Expected results: a significant reduction in grid electricity consumption and operating costs; a more stable energy profile with lower peak loads; more reliable operation of production equipment and better conditions for personnel; limiting CO₂ emissions by replacing part of the consumed electricity with clean on-site production. Reporting will be based on unit costs upon proven commissioning of the assets.
