Description

It is planned to purchase, install and operate local energy storage facilities (LESF) in combination with inverters in the central laboratory of IMDL LINA EOOD. The facilities will store electrical energy generated from the grid. The energy will be used to charge vehicles used to transport biological materials between the laboratory's handling areas and to power some of the existing medical equipment in order to optimize energy consumption from the electricity distribution network. In addition, they will contribute to regulating voltage levels, ensuring that the output voltage remains stable, protecting sensitive devices from surges or power drops. This regulation is essential for the durability of electronic devices that can be damaged due to uneven voltage. LESF in combination with inverters will be able to provide peak power, which is crucial for medical equipment requiring a higher initial load than their normal operating level. The inverters will draw additional energy from the batteries during these peak times, improving the flexibility and usability of the system. The application of the LSSE in combination with an inverter will contribute to the optimization of the laboratory's electricity consumption and improve the functionality of electric vehicles when transporting medical samples between the manipulation and central laboratories of IMDL "Lina" EOOD. In this way, effective management and optimization of the power supply from the power distribution network will be achieved. In addition, it will contribute to ensuring the continuity of processes in emergency situations during power outages, optimization of power supply for critical loads in case of emergency situations and overload of power consumption.
