The project of Kazanlak AD aims to construct a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for the company’s own needs, with the objective of increasing energy efficiency and utilizing energy from renewable sources. The main goal is to reduce electricity costs, optimize the energy mix, and lower the company’s carbon footprint. The project includes the supply and installation of a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 100 kW for self-consumption, combined with an integrated local energy storage system of 100 kWh. This will enable optimal management of the generated electricity and reduction of expenses for electricity purchased from the external grid. The system will be equipped with monitoring and control functionalities to ensure optimal use of the produced energy. The capacity of the PVPP will be aligned with the current annual consumption of the company, so that all electricity generated will be used entirely for its own needs. The implementation of the project will result in significant savings on electricity costs, increased business resilience, and compliance with European policies on circular economy and energy efficiency. The project is fully in line with the requirements of the Operational Programme Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises 2021–2027, procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy in Enterprises.”
