“TANGRA-AV” Ltd. is the leader of the Bulgarian market in the production of equipment and installation of air-conditioning systems, manufacturing the following components and complete facilities: - ventilation elements - air heaters, coolers, and floor fan convectors - complete facilities - industrial fans and ventilation boxes - complete energy recovery facilities - central air supply units The applicant has not yet built any renewable energy sources for its own consumption and currently sources electricity entirely from the grid. With this project, the company aims to build a photovoltaic installation in order to: - achieve relative energy independence through its own source of clean energy; - significantly reduce its electricity costs; - balance electricity consumption between its own renewable energy source and the grid, depending on its current price; Within the framework of the current project, “TANGRA-AV” Ltd. declares expenses in the form of unit costs for the acquisition of assets from Group 14 in accordance with the “List of eligible categories of assets in the field of energy efficiency and the use of energy from renewable sources” (Appendix 4.1): photovoltaic panels in combination with inverters with an output (nominal) active power of 195 kW (the output AC characteristics of all inverters). Through the acquisition of the assets under the project, the enterprise will produce clean energy, which will be used solely for its own consumption – to power all production machinery, air-conditioning, and lighting, i.e. the investment will provide energy for the applicant's main economic activity – NACE code 28.25 “Manufacture of non-domestic cooling and ventilation equipment” The photovoltaic panels combined with inverters, installed under the project, will cover almost entirely the company’s electricity needs, and the monthly savings will reflect on the cost of production.
