The project proposal meets PRINT-PRESS Ltd.’s need for targeted investments in energy efficiency, which are essential for the company’s sustainable growth. In this way, conditions are created for long-term cost reduction, improvement of the working environment, and improved competitiveness. The main objective of the project proposal is to improve the energy efficiency of PRINT-PRES Ltd., thereby accelerating the transition towards climate neutrality by reducing the company’s carbon footprint and optimizing its energy consumption. The proposal envisages the implementation of the following energy-efficient measure: 1) Execution of construction and installation works aimed at improving the energy efficiency of the enterprise. The activity will be carried out through investments in in multi-component thermal insulation systems for external walls (sandwich panels with insulation) and replacement of enclosing structures - windows and doors, which leads to a permanent reduction of the company's energy intensity. PRINT-PRES Ltd. falls within the eligible target group under the procedure. The company is a small enterprise, carrying out its main activity under NACE code 17.21 – Manufacture of corrugated paper and paperboard and of containers of paper and paperboard, which is characterized by high energy intensity and is among the priority sectors under the current procedure. The expected results of the investment implementation are that PRINT-PRES Ltd. will improve the energy efficiency of its production processes, reduce its heat losses, achieve better insulation of the building, lower its carbon footprint, and increase its competitiveness and resilience. The proposal is fully compliant with the “do no significant harm” principle, contributing to the green transition and supporting the achievement of national and European climate and energy goals.
