TRANSTEH LTD is an enterprise with a main economic activity with a KID-2008 code of 31.09 Production of other furniture, operating on the territory of the town of Samokov. The company's activity is characterized by high energy intensity and high consumption of electrical energy. The main (general) objective of the project is: To make investments in the enterprise related to improving its energy efficiency and promoting the use of energy from renewable sources (RE), thereby accelerating the Candidate's transition to climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption and increasing renewables in the enterprise's energy mix. The main objective of the project fully corresponds to and directly contributes to achieving the objective of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises". The implementation of investments under this procedure will also support the implementation of the Energy Union's objectives for secure, sustainable, competitive and affordable energy. The project will be implemented through the implementation of Activities eligible under the procedure, aimed at improving energy efficiency and using energy from renewable sources in enterprises, within which the implementation of the following investments is planned according to the List of eligible asset categories in the field of energy efficiency and the use of energy from renewable sources: 1. Local energy storage facilities (batteries) in combination with inverters (under item 15 of the List) - with a total energy storage capacity 120 kWh. As a result of the project implementation, the energy efficiency of the Candidate will be improved and an increase in the use of energy from renewable sources for its own needs will be achieved, as the above will contribute to increasing the competitiveness and reducing the energy intensity of the Candidate.
