The project proposal of “PETROV KOMERS” Ltd. is aimed at increasing the energy efficiency and sustainability of the enterprise through the installation of local energy storage facilities – batteries combined with inverters, with a total storage capacity of 158.72 kWh. The company operates in the hospitality sector, managing a hotel in the city of Nessebar, a field characterized by high and constant electricity consumption for lighting, heating, air conditioning, kitchen and service equipment, water supply, and ventilation systems. Reliable and stable power supply is a critical factor for the smooth operation of daily activities, ensuring guest comfort and maintaining high service standards. “PETROV KOMERS” Ltd. already has a photovoltaic power plant (PV plant) with a capacity of 200 kWp, built with its own funds, which covers a significant part of the hotel’s daily electricity consumption. However, a portion of the generated electricity is not used efficiently in real time, and during hours without sunlight, the company still relies on external electricity supply. The planned investment in local energy storage facilities with a capacity of 158.72 kWh will allow the excess electricity generated during the day to be stored and used during peak or nighttime hours when the PV plant is not generating electricity. This will ensure fuller and more efficient utilization of renewable energy, reduce dependence on the power grid, limit electricity costs, and increase the hotel’s energy autonomy. The implementation of the project will contribute to improving energy efficiency, optimizing energy flows, and reducing the carbon footprint of the company’s operations, enhancing sustainable resource management, and strengthening the enterprise’s competitiveness.
