Description

The project proposal by ECOENGINEERING Ltd. is focused on increasing the energy efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness of the company through the construction and commissioning of a photovoltaic system with an installed capacity of 28 kWp and an energy storage system consisting of ten battery blocks with a total capacity of 100 kWh.
The investment will be implemented at the company's hotel located near Kardzhali, in the village of Glavatartsi, where ECOENGINEERING Ltd. operates in the field of hospitality and tourism services. Due to the nature of the activity—which involves continuous operation of systems for heating, cooling, lighting, laundry, and kitchen equipment—electricity costs constitute a significant part of the company's operational expenses.

By implementing the photovoltaic system in combination with energy storage equipment, the company will optimize its energy balance and reduce operational costs. Additionally, the energy storage system will improve the efficiency of electricity utilization by enabling accumulation and redistribution of the generated power during peak consumption hours.
The project is fully aligned with the objectives of Procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Support for Energy Efficiency in Enterprises” and Priority 2 “Circular and Low-Carbon Economy” under the Programme “Competitiveness and Innovations in Enterprises” 2021–2027, which promote the transition to sustainable production and the use of renewable energy sources.

The implementation of this investment will contribute to reducing carbon emissions and the company’s energy footprint, while simultaneously improving its economic performance and strengthening its competitiveness in the tourism market. In this way, ECOENGINEERING Ltd. will reaffirm its position as an innovative and environmentally responsible enterprise that applies sustainable solutions in its operations.
