Les Komers - 94 EOOD, based in the town of Shumen, is a manufacturing enterprise specialising in the production of wooden pallets of the “Euro pallet” type, as well as industrial packaging solutions such as crates, lids, and bases, all tailored to the client’s technical drawings and specifications. Approximately 30% of the company’s output is export-oriented, either directly or as packaging for products destined for Western European markets. In pursuit of sustainable development and the creation of favourable conditions for long-term growth, the company has identified the need to enhance its energy efficiency. The present project proposal is designed to address this need through the acquisition and commissioning of local energy storage facilities (batteries) combined with inverter(s) with a total capacity of 215 kW. These will be integrated with the company’s existing photovoltaic power plant, which was constructed with its own financial resources for internal use. The successful implementation of this investment will ensure a reliable, sustainable, and economically viable energy supply. It will also increase the share of renewable energy used for internal consumption, thereby significantly improving the company’s energy efficiency. Ultimately, the project will contribute to reducing energy intensity and enhancing the competitiveness of Les Komers - 94 EOOD.
