The project proposal of DENTEM Ltd. envisages the implementation of an investment aimed at introducing renewable energy sources into the company’s production activities. The applicant carries out the production of pellets from wood waste generated by the industrial processing of timber at its facility located in Nikólovo village, Ruse Municipality. Under the project, the company plans the supply, installation and commissioning of a photovoltaic system with an installed capacity of 160 kW for the generation of electricity from solar energy, as well as the construction of a battery energy storage system with a capacity of 25.6 kWh, integrated with the photovoltaic installation. The system will be built on the company’s own site in the “Pluzhna” area and will be connected to the internal power distribution network of the enterprise, with the electricity produced to be used entirely for the company’s own consumption, without feeding into the public grid. The investment includes activities for the design, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning and operational start-up of the equipment, which will comply with the minimum technical requirements set out in Annex 4.2 to the Guidelines for Applicants under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy in Enterprises.”
