The investment project for the energy modernisation of “Feym Star” Ltd. will be implemented at the applicant’s own site—a restaurant in Dobrich. The project combines energy-efficiency measures and the use of renewable energy with the aim of reducing final energy consumption, stabilising costs, and improving comfort for customers and staff. The planned investments are as follows: 1. Renewable-energy system with storage for self-consumption—a photovoltaic installation “behind the meter”, integrated with inverters, protection devices, a monitoring system, and a battery module. The solution will cover a significant share of the restaurant’s daytime electrical load and buffer surplus energy for use during active hours, thereby reducing grid purchases and exposure to price volatility. 2. Air-to-water heat pump—a high-efficiency system for heating/cooling and/or domestic hot water production, with intelligent control for a precise indoor climate in dining and service areas, at a lower specific energy consumption. 3. Doors with aluminium frames with thermal break—replacement of existing openings with high-performance solutions to limit infiltration and thermal losses during frequent opening, typical of a restaurant environment. The combination of renewable energy with storage, heat-pump technology, and improved envelope elements addresses the main energy consumers, leading to a sustainably lower cost of operations and a more stable energy profile. The project will be implemented in compliance with applicable technical standards for electrical and fire safety, sanitary requirements, and environmental protection, including the “Do No Significant Harm” (DNSH) principle and the requirements for proper recovery/disposal of components at end of life. The expected effect is a measurable reduction in final energy consumption and emissions, increased operational reliability, and higher comfort—supporting the long-term competitiveness of “Feym Star” Ltd.
