Description

The project proposal of “BINDING BULGARIA” Ltd. aims to improve energy efficiency and increase the use of renewable energy sources through the installation of a photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 66 kWp for self-consumption.

The company is a major supplier and distributor of beverages on the Bulgarian market, operating a large warehouse and logistics base that serves partners and clients across Europe. Due to the continuous operation of refrigeration systems, lighting, and loading equipment, the company’s activity is highly energy-intensive and requires constant electricity supply to ensure uninterrupted business operations.

The main objective of the project is to ensure sustainable, environmentally friendly, and cost-effective electricity generation through the implementation of the photovoltaic system, which will lead to:

- a significant reduction in electricity consumption from the grid;
- lower energy costs and increased competitiveness;
- reduction of the company’s carbon footprint and contribution to national and European decarbonization goals.

The investment fully aligns with the objectives of the Operational Programme “Competitiveness and Innovations in Enterprises” 2021–2027, supporting the energy transition and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. The implementation of the project will provide the company with long-term energy independence and support its transition toward a greener and more sustainable business model, without disrupting operational processes or the quality of services.

The expected outcome is improved energy and resource efficiency, reduced electricity costs, and enhanced environmental sustainability in the operations of “BINDING BULGARIA” Ltd., contributing to sustainable growth and strengthening the company’s position as a responsible and innovative market leader.
