The project of "Zlatev-BG" Ltd. is aimed at improving energy efficiency and introducing renewable energy sources in the company’s production facility in Silistra. The main need to be addressed is the reduction of high energy intensity in textile manufacturing and the lowering of the company’s environmental footprint through the implementation of modern technologies for heating, compressed air, and energy storage. The project will implement three main investments: installation of air-to-air heat pumps (2 units), providing energy-efficient heating and cooling, with reduced electricity consumption and lower greenhouse gas emissions; construction of local energy storage facilities (1 unit – batteries combined with an inverter), enabling better management of the energy flow and optimization of self-consumption; implementation of a compressed air system with dryer and reservoir (1 unit), which will ensure more efficient and economical production by replacing outdated and energy-intensive equipment. The target group of the project is "Zlatev-BG" Ltd. and its employees, who will benefit from a more sustainable and environmentally friendly production environment. The main objective is to achieve a real reduction in energy consumption and related carbon emissions, to ensure greater energy independence of the company, and to support its competitiveness on the domestic and international market. The expected results include: optimization of production processes through the introduction of new equipment, reduction of the negative impact on the environment, and achievement of sustainable development in line with national and European objectives for energy efficiency and climate neutrality.
