"Polimix" Ltd. is a company whose main activity is mechanical metal processing - a sector characterized by one of the highest levels of energy consumption according to NSI data. The company produces machine parts and components for various industrial sectors - elevators, woodworking machines, boilers, convectors and other specialized products on request. The company strives to offer high-quality products, in line with the growing requirements for efficiency and sustainable development. The production processes in the company are highly energy-intensive, with electricity costs representing a significant part of the cost of production. Dynamic electricity prices create uncertainty and negatively affect the long-term competitiveness of the company. In addition to the economic consequences, high energy consumption also increases the carbon footprint, which contradicts the company's commitment to environmentally responsible production. The current project envisages the construction of a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 80kW for its own consumption. The system will include solar panels, an inverter, batteries and other components necessary for the operation of the plant. This investment will ensure that the majority of the company's energy needs are covered by renewable sources. This will lead to a significant reduction in operating costs, limiting dependence on external suppliers and greater predictability of production costs. The implementation of the FPP will strengthen the company's energy independence and create a solid foundation for sustainable development and competitiveness in the long term. The implementation of the project is in line with the objectives of the procedure and with the national and European climate neutrality goals, by supporting the use of renewable energy sources, reducing electricity costs and greenhouse gas emissions and creating conditions for more sustainable and energy-efficient production.
