"Vip Plast 88" EOOD, as a micro-enterprise in the Manufacture of Metal Joinery (NACE 25.12) sector, is heavily affected by the rising prices of electricity. This trend directly impacts the cost of goods sold for its products (joinery, blinds, insect screens) and reduces competitiveness. The primary need is to achieve energy independence and reduce operating costs through the introduction of green technologies. Objectives General Objective: Significant reduction of the production process’s energy intensity and carbon footprint. Specific Objective: Achieving a high degree of energy self-sufficiency by generating clean energy for own consumption. Target Groups "Vip Plast 88" EOOD (direct beneficiary), as well as the company’s customers and partners, who will benefit from more competitive product prices and a responsible attitude toward the environment. Main Activities RES Investment: Design, delivery, and installation of a Photovoltaic Power Plant (PVPP) with a capacity of 55 kWp to cover the needs of the production facility in Plovdiv. Expected Results Clean Energy Production: Generation of over 65 MWh/year of electricity from Renewable Energy Sources (RES). Savings: Reduction in electricity costs and increased financial sustainability of the company. Emission Reduction: Significant reduction in CO2 emissions (in tonnes/year), contributing to the goals of the Green Deal. Improved Competitiveness: "Vip Plast 88" EOOD will strengthen its market position thanks to optimized operating costs.
