One of the company's own buildings in the town of Lom is located in the city center and is actively used mainly as a catering establishment (restaurant). The building is old, built in the 1920s, which determines the need for a modern approach to energy renovation, permissible by law. Part of the buildings has been renovated by the company, but not to optimize energy consumption. It is known that in the conditions of the free electricity market, the costs of legal entities have increased many times and burdened the economic condition of the company. The provided opportunity for grant financing creates prerequisites for reducing energy costs by using solar energy - building a photovoltaic power plant and collectors for hot water production for the needs of the kitchen, as well as improving the enclosing structures - joinery. Although it is quite old, the roof of the building can be renovated and, together with an adjacent building, become the basis for installing PvPP. According to an initial assessment, a PvPP with a capacity of about 35 kW - panels and battery - can be installed. This will significantly reduce the company's electricity costs. This project proposal also provides for the installation of two hot water pipe collectors with an area of 4.32 sq. m. each, which will supply the kitchen. The replacement of window frames is planned in order to reduce heat loss. In compliance with regulatory requirements, the delivery and installation of the described equipment will be assigned to an external contractor. Such a contractor will be selected through a Public Invitation, in accordance with regulatory requirements and in particular - PMS 4 and the Guide for the implementation of this type of project. During the implementation of the project, all applicable requirements of European legislation will be strictly observed - exclusion of discrimination, avoidance of negative impact on nature, as well as ensuring transparency and appreciation for the funds provided.
