Having established itself as an ophthalmology center with a highly qualified medical team applying state-of-the-art technological achievements, Medical Center Vereya envisages to introduce the innovative SPECTRALIS OCT imaging platform in its activities. The project includes the purchase of the platform for imaging diagnosis of diseases affecting the posterior segment of the eye (e.g. glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, etc.). SPECTRALIS OCT combines technologies ensuring extremely high precision and reliability of measurements, high quality of generated images and providing the possibility of a personalized approach in diagnosis and therefore in individual patient therapy. The advantage of the platform is its flexibility, allowing modular upgrades. When new imaging modalities are available, they can be added to the existing platform, which will provide additional information for clinical decision making and preservation of patient data for precise follow-up.
As a result of the implemented innovation, MC Vereya will have advanced capabilities for accurate and reliable diagnosis and finding personalized therapeutic solutions. The application of the innovative approaches in the activities of the " Medical Center Vereya" will strengthen its competitiveness as an ophthalmology center offering high quality services to patients with a wide range of eye diseases.
The applicability in clinical trials of the technological capabilities of the implemented SPECTRALIS platform will enable MC Vereya to expand its research activities. The participation of the centre in new clinical trials, meeting the technological needs of their sponsors, will contribute to increasing the innovation capacity of MC Verea.
The access to the technological capabilities of the SPECTRALIS platform will allow MC Vereya to effectively participate in projects of the EVICR.net network (European Vision Institute Clinical Research Network).

Доставка и инсталация на оптичен кохерентен томограф
: В рамките на тази дейност ще бъде доставен, инсталиран, тестван и въведен в експлоатация ДМА: оптичен кохерентен томограф, модел Spectralis. Този ДМА представлява иновативна платформа за образна диагностика, съчетаваща различни технологии, което осигурява ранна, прецизна и персонализирана диагностиката при широк спектър от очни заболявания.
Изпълнението на дейността включва следните етапи, гарантиращи прозрачно, отговорно и коректно изпълнение:
(1) Подготовка и провеждане на процедура за избор на изпълнител, съгласно приложимата нормативна уредба (от 1 месец до 4 месец от изпълнение на проекта);
(2) сключване на договор за изпълнение (4 месец от изпълнение на проекта)
(3) Доставка, инсталация и калибриране на апарата от компанията производител
Обучение на персонала за работа с платформата от представител на компанията производител. Подписване на приемо-предавателен протокол. Заприхождаване на актива в Инвентарна книга и/или Амортизационен план; тестване и пускане в експлоатация. (от 4 месец до 7 месец от изпълнение на проекта)
(4) Разработване на вътрешни процедури и инструкции за работа с платформата в МЦ Верея;
Дефиниране на новите диагностични услуги, които са достъпни за пациентите на центъра. Разпространение на информацията за новите услуги чрез комуникационните канали на МЦ Верея.(7 месец до 8 месец)
