The project proposal of “MM SERVIZ” Ltd. aims to improve energy efficiency, reduce the carbon footprint, and enhance the sustainability of production activities through the implementation of a high-efficiency heat pump system and local energy storage facilities combined with an inverter system. The company operates in the field of manufacturing and repairing machinery and equipment for the food and beverage processing industry (NACE 28.93) and manages its own production base, which includes production, storage, and administrative premises. The company operates year-round and requires stable electricity supply to ensure the functioning of production lines, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The investment includes: Procurement and installation of a high-efficiency heat pump with a total capacity of 96 kW (4 × 24 kW), designed for heating and cooling of production and administrative premises. The new equipment will replace outdated and inefficient heating systems using electric and solid fuel devices, ensuring energy efficiency improvements of over 35% compared to the current situation. Implementation of local energy storage facilities (batteries) – 7 units × 14.3 kW, with a total capacity of 100.1 kW, combined with an inverter system integrated into the existing photovoltaic installation. This will enable the accumulation of generated electricity and its use during peak load periods, reducing grid consumption and stabilizing the energy supply. The project implementation will lead to optimized energy consumption, a 35–40% reduction in electricity and heating costs and increased resource efficiency. The project fully complies with the objectives of the procedure and the principle of “Do No Significant Harm (DNSH)”, contributing to an increased share of renewable energy for self-consumption, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, and sustainable development of the industrial sector and the regional economy.
