Description

Juliand Market Ltd. was established in 2019 with a core business activity in the wholesale and retail trade of construction materials for renovation and finishing works. We offer products in the field of dry construction (plasterboard, suspended ceilings), thermal insulation, waterproofing, building chemistry (adhesives, fillers, plasters, etc.), paints, tools, and more.
In early 2024, we purchased our own facility in Stara Zagora, where we established a specialized retail store covering over 200 sq. m and more than 2000 sq. m of warehouse space – both indoor and outdoor.
To optimize our operations and costs, we need to improve the energy efficiency of the building. By doing so, we will also reduce the carbon footprint of our activities thus creating conditions for decreased consumption of electricity generated from fossil fuels.
Through this project, we plan to implement activities, each of which contributes to an overall reduction in the energy used to maintain optimal climate conditions in the company's premises. For some of the products we offer, it is necessary to maintain a temperature between 10°C and 25°C year-round to preserve their quality and parameters.
Thus we plan to install a PV plant in combination with a local energy storage system, heat pumps to provide heating and cooling for the premises, and to install aluminum joinery with a thermal break in the main areas. Furthermore, the outdated, energy-intensive lighting fixtures will be replaced with energy-saving ones.
We expect that, as a result of the project implementation, we will reduce our energy expenses by more than 30%.
A high level of energy independence will also be achieved through the installed PV plant with the local storage system (LSS), as the system will be connected in a way that will ensure the operation of the heat pumps and part of the critical lighting during potential power interruptions. In normal situations, the stored energy will be used during the darker hours of the day.
