The project of "SOFIYSKA BANITSA" OOD is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and reducing energy costs in the production base of the enterprise by implementing highly efficient equipment and modern energy technologies. The company is an established leader in the production of frozen pastries and traditional Bulgarian banitsa. Its activity is characterized by high energy intensity, due to the continuous operation of refrigeration equipment, dough mixing and baking lines, as well as air conditioning systems, ensuring an optimal production environment. In order to improve its energy efficiency and reduce its carbon footprint, the enterprise plans to implement the following assets: Compressed air compressor with inverter control and dryer - providing precise power regulation and significantly lower electricity consumption; Air-to-water heat pump - an energy-efficient solution for heating and cooling production premises; Climate chambers with highly efficient heat, cold and moisture recovery – to maintain a stable microclimate and reduce energy losses. The implementation of the investment will lead to optimization of production processes, reduction of energy costs and increase of the competitiveness of the enterprise. The project will have a long-term environmental effect by reducing electricity consumption, carbon emissions and operating costs, improving the sustainability and energy independence of the company.
