The project proposal is aimed at modernizing the production process and increasing productivity through the purchase of a specialized machine for wet wool plaiting. The founder of the company, Elena Dramava, is an established master of artistic fabrics with over 35 years of experience in the craft. She has been a member of the National Chamber of Crafts since 2000 and works with 10 handlooms on which she makes traditional Bulgarian costumes and decorative textiles.
Currently, all production is done by hand, which limits the volume of production and leads to considerable physical effort, especially in the last stage of production - wet plaiting. This process involves arranging and crimping the fibers to create the finished textile product. Hand plaiting takes a lot of time and energy, which makes it difficult to produce larger items.
The purchase of the wet molding machine will allow optimization of this process, significantly shortening the production time and reducing physical exertion. The machine is equipped with a stainless steel frame and plate, as well as 4 eccentric rotating rollers that help to evenly stack and layer the fibers. This automation will allow the company to increase production volumes and offer a wider range of products, including larger and more complex textiles.
With the new technology, Elena Dramova will be able to expand her product portfolio while maintaining the high artistic value of her products, as the main stages of creative work will continue to be done manually. In addition, the machine will open up opportunities for the production of products with higher added value and will improve the competitiveness of Drama Textile Ltd. on the market of artistic textiles.
The project will contribute not only to the sustainable development of the company, but also to the preservation of traditional Bulgarian crafts, while introducing innovations that meet modern market requirements.

Елена Драмова е с майсторско свидетелство по художествени тъкани към Задругата на майсторите от 1987 година. От тогава се занимава с изработка на художествени тъкани. От 1989 година е съдружник във фирма СД ДД Драмова и сие., която от 5 години не функционира. През 2018 година открива собствена фирма, която занимава изцяло с производство и търговия на художествени тъкани. Изработва платове и цели костюми от народния фолклор за танцови ансамбли. Членува от 2000 година в Национална занаятчийска камара, майсторското й свидетелство е от 2012 година. Цялото производство е ръчно с 10 стана от различни размери. Машината за плъстене ще помогне в последния етап на производството на нетъкан текстил при подребната на влакната и затепването им/ плъстяване/. Този процес до момента се е извършвал ръчно, но е отнемал много време и физическа енергия. Времето за плъстене чрез машината ще съкрати физическото усилие и ще позволи по-широк спектър на изделия . Т.к. в момента се правят шалове и дребни неща, с тази машина ще се правят по – едри изделия. Тази машина няма да засегне художествената стойност на изделията, защото основните функции ще бъдат ръчни.
