The project “Improving Energy Efficiency in KINGLY Ltd. through Renovation of Two Buildings in the Town of Byala – Roofs and External Insulations” will be implemented under the Operational Programme “Competitiveness and Innovations in Enterprises” 2021–2027, Priority Circular Economy, procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Energy from Renewable Sources in Enterprises.” The main objective of the project is to reduce energy consumption and improve the energy efficiency of the company’s production buildings through the implementation of measures for thermal renovation and enhancement of the thermal insulation characteristics of the building envelope. The project covers two buildings of KINGLY Ltd., located in the town of Byala: Building 1 – total built-up area: 249 m² Building 2 – total built-up area: 155 m² The planned activities include improving the energy performance of the buildings in compliance with the Energy Efficiency Act and the minimum technical requirements of the procedure, through: Repair and thermal insulation of the roofs; Installation of external façade thermal insulation. The implementation of the project will result in: Reduced energy costs and improved energy independence of the company; Extended lifespan of the buildings; Improved working conditions for employees; Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, in line with the objectives of the European Green Deal and the “Do No Significant Harm” (DNSH) principle. The project will contribute to the sustainable development of the enterprise, increase its competitiveness, and promote the efficient use of resources through the implementation of energy-saving solutions and good environmental practices.
