Description

SK "TEMIDA" is an established company with over 30 years of history in the field of office supplies trade. Founded in 1992 as a small bookstore, today the company offers a wide range of office products wholesale in various retail outlets.
The project proposal aims to increase energy efficiency and reduce the cooperative's carbon footprint by implementing modern, resource-efficient technologies and using energy from renewable sources.
Currently, part of the premises in the cooperative's main building are heated by outdated, low-efficiency electrical appliances, which is not only economically disadvantageous but also potentially risky. This makes it difficult to maintain a stable and healthy microclimate, especially during the winter season. In view of this, the project envisages the installation of four air-to-air heat pumps with a total nominal heating capacity of 64.48 kW. There are also plans to build a photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 30 kW, combined with batteries with a capacity of 30 kWh. The energy produced will be for own consumption. Analyses show that the system will be able to cover a significant part of the annual electricity consumption, thus reducing dependence on the grid and energy costs will be reduced. The batteries will allow the storage of surplus energy and its utilisation in periods of lower electricity production.
The implementation of the project will improve energy efficiency and increase the competitiveness of the cooperative through the use of renewable energy sources and the introduction of energy-efficient technologies. Better working conditions will be ensured by creating a healthy and sustainable microclimate in the working environment. The project will contribute to reducing the carbon footprint and the sustainable use of resources in accordance with the principles of a low-carbon economy, thereby contributing to climate change mitigation.
