"VETERINARY CLINIC – KOZLUDZHA" Ltd. is a small enterprise providing veterinary services in the city of Veliko Tarnovo. The company's activities require continuous and reliable power supply 24 hours a day, as medical examinations, operations and laboratory tests are performed daily in the clinic, and animals remain under observation after surgical interventions. This requires constant operation of medical equipment, air conditioning and lighting systems, sterilizers and other electrical appliances. Due to the high and increasing prices of electricity, there is a need to introduce a measure for its own production and efficient use of energy. In order to reduce energy costs and carbon emissions, the enterprise plans to invest in photovoltaic panels in combination with inverters for its own consumption with a nominal AC power of 20 kW and a local energy storage facility with a capacity of 56 kWh, installed on the roof structure of its own site with identifier 10447.16.217 in the city of Veliko Tarnovo. The expected annual yield is approximately 30.15 MWh, which will cover a significant part of the own consumption and will lead to savings of about 24 tons of CO₂ per year, calculated at an emission factor of 0.8 tCO₂/MWh. The implementation of the project will ensure higher energy independence, stability of the power supply and continuity of veterinary activities, while at the same time reducing energy costs and improving the environmental profile of the enterprise. The assets applied for under the project fall into categories No. 14 and No. 15 of Annex 4.1 to procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 – “Photovoltaic panels in combination with inverter/s for own consumption” and “Local energy storage facilities (batteries) in combination with inverter/s”, and meet all minimum technical and energy requirements.
