The PODEM 14 Ltd. project will meet the need to reduce the company's carbon footprint and heating/cooling energy consumption costs, which will have a positive impact on the company's competitiveness. Main objective:improving the energy efficiency of PODEM 14,thereby accelerating the company's transition to climate neutrality by reducing its carbon footprint and helping the company maintain its competitiveness by reducing its vulnerability to rising electricity prices through the use of renewable energy. Specific objectives:Reducing the company's carbon footprint and annual primary energy consumption by installing a 20 kW air-to-water heat pump in the company's administrative buildings;Reducing the annual primary electricity consumption for the company's needs by building a 30 kW photovoltaic power plant,in combination with an inverter and a battery for storing the energy produced by the photovoltaic system;Ensuring greater energy independence and stability of the power supply by installing a battery with an inverter for energy storage with a total capacity of 61.44 kW;Maintaining and increasing the competitiveness of the company as a result of the adopted energy-efficient measures and reduced electricity costs for the needs of the company. Activities envisaged in the project:installation of an air-to-water heat pump with a heating capacity of 20 kW,construction and civil engineering work on the construction of a 30 kW thermal power plant;purchase of an additional battery with an inverter for energy storage from the thermal power plant with a capacity of 61.44 kW. Expected results:Reduced carbon footprint of the company and low emissions of greenhouse gases and fine dust particles, while complying with the "principle of no significant harm";Reduced annual electricity consumption; Increased competitiveness. The project proposal is in accordance with the horizontal principles set out in Art. 9 of Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
