The current project will be implemented by "AQUAPARK HISSAR" LTD. - a company managing the "Terme di Hissar" complex in the town of Hissarya. The complex is located on an area of 14 acres and offers its clients: 5 mineral pools, a relaxation area, 20 villas with one or two bedrooms, a campsite with 39 places. Due to the specifics of the activity and the need to ensure maximum comfort for customers (heating, cooling, domestic hot water, lighting), the energy component is a significant factor in forming the final price of the various packages and "AQUAPARK HISSAR" LTD. is faced with challenges related to high energy intensity, uncertainty of energy supplies and the dynamics of electricity prices. To address these challenges and in accordance with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", the project envisages the implementation of an investment under item 15 of the List of eligible assets, namely: • Local energy storage facility (battery) in combination with an inverter with a capacity of 240KWh, which will store the energy from an available 60 KW photovoltaic plant, satisfying the complex's own needs; The envisaged investment represents a system for energy transformation, efficiency and sustainable consumption, complementing the measures already taken by the company in this direction. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004, with the principles of energy efficiency, sustainable development and green transformation of the Bulgarian economy. The investment will contribute both to improving the environmental and economic indicators of the company, and to achieving the strategic priorities of the Program "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021–2027. The total value of the investment is 309,319.20 leva, and the duration of the project is 12 months.
