The project proposal is submitted by the company "SUN CITY" Ltd., registered in 1997, developing the main economic activity "Activity of drinking establishments". As a result of the implementation of the project, photovoltaic panels in combination with inverters 42.035kW and local energy storage facilities batteries in combination with inverters 85.4kW will be purchased. For the activities of the company drinking establishments, electricity is used for lighting, ventilation, air conditioning, kitchen equipment (ovens, stoves, refrigerators, dishwashers), electrical appliances for food preparation and storage, waste and ventilation system, etc. These costs are a large and significant element of the monthly operating costs. The investment in the construction of a photovoltaic power plant is fully consistent with the priorities of the European Union and the national strategies for energy efficiency, sustainable growth and transition to a low-carbon economy. The project meets the objectives of encouraging small businesses to use renewable energy sources and will contribute to achieving higher standards of sustainability in the service sector. The project proposal is in line with the horizontal principles set out in Article 9 of Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 of the European Parliament and of the Council; The project proposal is in line with the Paris Agreement and the principle of "doing no significant harm". The project proposal does not cause significant harm to the following six environmental objectives: 1) climate change mitigation; 2) climate change adaptation; 3) sustainable use and conservation of water and marine resources; 4) transition to a circular economy; 5) pollution prevention and control; 6) protection and restoration of biodiversity and ecosystems.
