Kalinovi Consult Ltd is a small family-run company specializing in the design and production of ventilation, air conditioning, and heating systems. The company's manufacturing activities take place in a production facility located within the city of Haskovo, which is characterized by low energy efficiency, poor insulation, lack of ventilation, and outdated lighting. This results in high energy costs and deteriorated working conditions, lowering productivity levels. To enhance the company's competitiveness and reduce energy expenses, a comprehensive set of energy-efficient measures has been planned, including: Improving the building's energy efficiency: - Applying thermal insulation to external walls (315 sq.m) using sandwich panels (PUR, 10 cm) with a heat transfer coefficient of ≤ 0.022 W/m.K. - Replacing old window frames (18.8 sq.m) with energy-efficient aluminum frames (1.7 W/m²K). - Exchanging worn sectional doors (18 sq.m) with new insulated ones (2 W/m²K). - Replacing old linear lights with 24 LED spotlights (100 W each) to improve illumination, increase work process efficiency, and reduce energy costs. - Enhancing ventilation in the building by installing two recuperators (800 m³/h each) in the canteen and offices to provide fresh air, minimize energy losses, and maintain air quality. - Modernizing the compressor system: this involves replacing an old compressor with a new rotary one (7.5 kW) featuring inverter control, a dryer, and a receiver (300 L). This will decrease energy consumption in the compressor system by 30-50%, increase reliability, and reduce maintenance costs. These measures aim to lower energy intensity, improve the microclimate, and enhance work process efficiency and safety in production.
