The project proposal of BBB-BILI Ltd. aims to improve energy efficiency and increase the use of renewable energy sources in the company’s commercial site located in the village of Dralfa, Targovishte Municipality. The site is a solid two-storey building, leased on a long-term basis, where the beneficiary operates a grocery store with adjacent storage and service premises. The company’s activity is energy-intensive due to the continuous use of refrigerators, freezers, and lighting systems, which leads to high electricity costs and a significant environmental impact. To achieve higher energy efficiency and reduce overall energy consumption, two main investment measures are envisaged: Replacement of transparent building elements (windows and doors) with new, energy-efficient PVC frames and triple-glazed units, ensuring a heat transfer coefficient of U ≤ 1.1 W/m²K for a total area of approximately 34,94 m²; Construction of a photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 30 kW, including solar panels, inverters, 40 kwh batteries, and all necessary components, intended for the company’s own consumption. The implementation of the project will enable the enterprise to reduce its dependence on external energy sources, optimize operational costs, and achieve a better energy balance. The planned measures will lead to a reduction in grid electricity consumption, a decrease in greenhouse gas emissions, and an overall improvement of the environmental footprint of the business. The project is fully aligned with the objectives of the procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy in Enterprises”, contributing to the transition towards climate neutrality, reduction of carbon emissions, achievement of sustainable growth, and enhancement of business competitiveness through the introduction of green technologies and energy-efficient solutions.
