The project of "NOVA LINIYA" EOOD envisages the implementation of comprehensive measures to improve energy efficiency in an existing building of the enterprise in the city of Ruse, in which the main activity under KID 14.13 - "Manufacture of outerwear" is carried out. As a medium-sized enterprise with many years of experience in the textile industry, "NOVA LINIYA" aims to increase the sustainability and competitiveness of its production processes by reducing energy consumption and switching to energy-efficient solutions. Within the framework of the project, an investment is planned in the following groups of assets included in the list of eligible under the procedure: -Energy-efficient insulation systems for the building's enclosing elements in order to limit heat losses; -LED lighting, which will replace the existing outdated and energy-intensive system; -Heat pump systems to provide economical and sustainable heating and cooling. All planned investments are in line with the principle of “doing no significant harm” (DNSH) on the environment and will contribute to the climate sustainability of the enterprise. The selected technologies meet modern environmental standards and have a low carbon footprint. The expected results of the project implementation include a significant reduction in energy consumption, optimization of energy costs, reduction of carbon emissions, as well as improvement of the working environment. In addition, the project will contribute to achieving national and European goals for decarbonization and green transformation, as well as to reducing the energy intensity of the economy at the enterprise level. The project proposal is in line with the horizontal principles according to Art. 9 of Regulation (EU) No 2021/1060, as well as with the principle of “doing no significant harm”.
