“HAY GROUP” Ltd. is a company specialized in the design, construction, and maintenance of photovoltaic systems and heating systems. A key challenge facing the company is the need to improve energy efficiency as a crucial factor for sustainable development, reducing energy costs, and increasing competitiveness. The project is focused on enhancing the energy efficiency of an existing industrial building through the implementation of thermal insulation measures aimed at reducing heat losses and optimizing the enterprise’s overall energy consumption. The project foresees the implementation of two main measures: 1. Thermal insulation of the external façade walls of the industrial building through the installation of sandwich panels with a polyurethane insulation core. The implementation of this measure will ensure durable protection of the building envelope, a significant reduction in heat losses, and a decrease in energy costs for heating and cooling. 2. Replacement of the existing low-efficiency glazing of the industrial building with high-performance PVC windows equipped with energy-efficient double-glazed units. The implementation of this measure will improve thermal insulation, reduce heat losses through window openings, and optimize the building’s overall energy performance. The selected measures represent technically and economically justified solutions for improving energy efficiency by reducing the building’s specific energy consumption. The expected outcomes of their implementation include a substantial reduction in heat losses through the building envelope, decreased energy consumption for heating and cooling, extended service life of the facility, and a reduced carbon footprint of the enterprise. The project is fully aligned with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004, aimed at accelerating the transition to climate neutrality and supporting enterprises in the decarbonisation process through enhanced energy efficiency.
