“SPORT ZONE BG” OOD is a limited liability company whose main economic activity for 2024 is under NACE 2008 code 47.29 – “Retail sale of other food products in specialized stores”, while its actual business is focused on the trade of sports goods, accessories, nutritional supplements, and equipment. The company has established strong market positions in Bulgaria and serves a wide customer base: individual clients, sports clubs, schools, and corporate partners. The firm successfully develops e-commerce through an online store, which expands its geographical reach and increases the volume of processed and stored goods. To support this business model, the company operates a warehouse facility, which is a key element of its activities. Electricity costs are among the main budget items and directly affect profitability, while market fluctuations and high prices create uncertainty. In line with European and national sustainable development policies, the company plans to build a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) with a capacity of 55 kW on its own property. The projected annual output is about 71,500 kWh, which will cover 25–30% of consumption and reduce electricity costs by around 35%. Arguments for the chosen capacity: optimal coverage of consumption, alignment with daytime operating mode, good economic efficiency, and potential for future expansion. Expected effects: Economic – annual savings of over BGN 17,000 and higher financial sustainability; Energy – stable supply and reduced dependence on the grid; Environmental – reduction of over 30 tons of CO₂ emissions annually; Social – better working conditions and strengthened corporate image. The investment is sustainable in financial, technical, environmental, and social aspects and is fully consistent with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 – improving energy efficiency, increasing the share of renewable energy, reducing emissions, and enhancing competitiveness.
