In compliance with the objectives of the procedure, the project aims to introduce energy efficiency measures in Avtoprogres Pleven EOOD by using energy from renewable sources. It is planned to build a 34 kW photovoltaic power plant for its own needs, including the installation of photovoltaic panels, inverters, batteries and other components necessary for the operation of the power plant, as well as the supply and installation of 2 air-to-air heat pumps. The selected combination of assets - heat pumps that use renewable energy from the environment and less primary conventional energy, and a photovoltaic power plant, reduces CO₂ emissions and supports the achievement of national and European energy efficiency and decarbonization goals. In view of the quality, effective and timely implementation of the project, the following activities are planned: - Construction of a photovoltaic power plant; - Supply and installation of 2 air-to-air heat pumps; - Implementation of communication and visibility measures in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2021/1060; - Project management. The activities will be outsourced and will go through the following stages: - Preparation and conduct of procedures for the selection of contractors; - Conclusion of contracts with the selected contractors; - Implementation of contracts. Control over the implementation of contracts and acceptance of work will be carried out using the provisions of the applicable legislation, the conditions of this procedure, as well as in accordance with the clauses of the contracts. As a result of the implementation of the project, energy efficiency will be improved by purchasing 2 air-to-air heat pumps and increasing the use of energy from renewable sources for own needs by "Avtoprogres Pleven" EOOD by building a photovoltaic power plant for own needs, which will contribute both to increasing competitiveness and reducing the energy intensity of the enterprise, and to the economy as a whole.
