The project of “Pod Metlite” Ltd. aims to enhance the company’s energy efficiency and sustainability by installing a 30 kW photovoltaic system integrated with a 90 kW energy storage system, including batteries and inverters. The system will be mounted on the roof of the company’s restaurant and will be used entirely for self-consumption, without selling electricity to the public grid. The company’s daily operations require substantial amounts of electricity for lighting, cooking, heating, cooling, and ventilation, resulting in high costs and a significant carbon footprint. By generating solar energy and storing it for later use, the company will reduce its dependence on external energy supply, lower electricity expenses, and cut CO₂ emissions. The project will lead to a stable, sustainable, and environmentally responsible energy model, improving the company’s competitiveness and aligning its operations with the principles of the European Green Deal and the transition to a low-carbon economy.
