The project proposal envisages an investment in assets aimed at improving the energy efficiency of SPA Hotel “MANTAR”, located in the village of Marikostinovo, Municipality of Petrich, Blagoevgrad Region. Within the framework of the project, a high-efficiency heat pump and a photovoltaic installation for the generation of electricity, including local facilities for the storage of the produced energy for own consumption, will be purchased and put into operation. The planned equipment will be selected from the list of eligible equipment under the procedure and will comply with the highest standards of energy efficiency and reliability, in line with the best available technologies on the Bulgarian market. The implementation of the photovoltaic system will ensure on-site generation of green electricity, reducing the hotel’s dependence on external suppliers and leading to a significant decrease in energy costs. The new heat pump will enable efficient heating, cooling, and domestic hot-water production, while simultaneously reducing the electricity consumption from the grid. The realization of the project will be a strong driver for accelerating the company’s transition towards climate neutrality by reducing its carbon footprint and optimizing energy consumption. At the same time, the investment will help “MANTAR-2012” Ltd. maintain and strengthen its competitiveness in the hospitality sector, free up financial resources as a result of reduced energy consumption, and ensure the sustainability of its future investment initiatives.
