The project of Plast-60 Ltd. envisages the implementation of a 122.88 kWh battery energy storage system, together with the necessary inverter(s) required for its operation. The batteries will be charged entirely from the company’s existing photovoltaic power plant, storing the energy generated during hours of lower load or lower market prices and discharging it during peak consumption periods. The implementation of the project will increase the efficiency of the existing photovoltaic installation, stabilize energy costs and improve the sustainability and competitiveness of Plast-60 Ltd., enabling more accurate production cost planning and achieving lower product cost.
